Run dont walk!! You wont be disappointed. Excellent place!! These 2 sandwiches were even better than expected. So fresh and delicious. The one was The Tony Soprano and the other was Prosciutto, Arugula, fig jam...omg!! I still don't know which one I liked better. The workers were super nice and friendly. Super cute place.

Had a great experience at Curd & Cleaver! Staff were very friendly and took time to explain the menu. The soup and salad were both very flavorful. Didn't get to try it but they had a display of their meat and cheese to go box. Very cute! The store itself is nicely set up with meat and cheese you can buy to go and a variety of kitchen accessories. A great extension of Farmer's Daughter. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful little spot to eat lunch. It's not cheap food (not expensive either just a little more than average) but absolutely worth the couple dollars extra. My sandwich was dense with layers, extremely fresh and overall a fantastic combination of flavors. Highly recommend especially if you're looking for something fresh and/or organic.

There are sandwich shops and delis.... and then there's Curd and Cleaver. This place stands above them all. Thoughtful and fresh ingredients, friendly staff and a cool atmosphere. Every time I visit I try something new. I highly recommend if you're looking for a solid lunch spot in the area, or if you're not in the area and just craving something different. This is the place.

I didn’t think a sandwich could do this, but I think it changed my life. It’s literally one I will remember and dream about and the odd part is the name of it but it’s so fun!! The service was amazing and fun to talk to, I’ll definitely be a customer for life. Plus I won a scoop of popcorn gelato when I dropped in and spent more than $25 (duh I had to get a sandwich and bring goodies home!)

We have been to The Farmers Daughter before, but never here (but they share the same owners) ! They just opened this past October. Rustic, cute, homey. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My husband and I came for lunch and decoded to try the pretzel party platter. Good thing we waited to order anything else because we were soooooo full! Everything was fresh and delicious! We will be back and both already know what we want to try. If i had any critiques, it would be it was a little warm in there. Perhaps a fan or AC would help especially as the weather climbs and summer approaches.

Nestled in the heart of Newton, New Jersey, Curd & Cleaver stands out as a delightful destination for those who appreciate artisanal sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and exceptional cheese selections. This charming eatery has captured the local palate with its thoughtfully crafted menu and warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly staff eager to guide you through their curated offerings, blending comfort with culinary sophistication.

The true highlight here lies in their sandwiches—each one a masterpiece of flavor and texture. Take, for example, the praised Tony Soprano, which balances robust, savory elements with fresh, vibrant toppings. Equally captivating is their Prosciutto, Arugula, and Fig Jam creation; the subtle sweetness of fig jam paired with peppery arugula and silky prosciutto creates a harmonious bite that's both unexpected and memorable. The bread, described as perfect by many patrons, provides the ideal foundation—crispy yet tender—complementing the layers within.

Beyond sandwiches, their commitment to quality shines through in the chicken gumbo, a hearty and deeply flavorful dish that has garnered enthusiastic reviews. The assortment of cheeses at Curd & Cleaver elevates the experience even further, offering selections that are thoughtfully sourced and expertly paired with house-made or curated accompaniments.

A notable aspect of this establishment is its dual role as both a café and a boutique marketplace. Visitors not only enjoy well-crafted meals but can also explore a range of kitchen accessories, artisanal meats, and cheese boxes to take home. This seamless blend of dining and shopping enriches the overall experience, tying together the farm-to-table ethos that resonates throughout the brand.

It's a spot that invites repeat visits—not just for the outstanding sandwiches, but for the friendly ambiance and the genuine passion evident in every dish and product offered.
